The Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management have shifted into top gear as they prepare to stage the first day night Formula One race on Sunday, at one of the most technologically advanced racing circuit in the world.
"We are ready" said Richard Cregan, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit as the security cover around Yas Island tightened and a massive mulyi media public service campaign was launched to mark the final days before the season ending finale of one of the wolds's most watched sport.
One of the keys areas that the organizers have been focusing on has been the travel and transport arrangements which is the fact that Yas Island on which the Yas Marina is built is a relatively new location while the huge numbers of over 50,000 plus fans makes the task that more difficult.
"Ensuring that everyone is able to get and from the track is shared responsibility across many public and private organizations. We would like to thank all of those partners, and on behalf of the partners we urge the race going public to take the time and plan their day."
"There are numerous ways to get to Yas Marina Circuit, and we ask that you think about what way will best suit you," said Cregan , as he awaits the final test of Abu Dhabi's first Formula One race on Sunday. (Gulf Daily News)
